BOSWELATLOU ADMINISTRATION BLOCK HANDING OVER

Lobatse Town Council through the department of Social & Community Development under division of Community development officially hands Boswelatlou Administration block to Boswelatlou Ward development (WDC) committee on the 28th October 2021.

Project was one of the initiatives of 2017/18 constituency projects. The project kick started in April 2018. It was awarded to Solomon Lesedi and Mosalasuping Ranna. Both the contractors were engaged at a total contract sum of P148 500.00

Towards end of the project challenges such as financial constraints were discovered which later forced Lobatse town Council to terminate their contract with Solomon Lesedi and Mosalasuping Ranna. Two (2) contractors managed to do the project upto roof level.

Later on Lobatse Town Council took a decision to continue the project by engaging Lobatse Town Council maintenance team to finish the project from roof level to completion stage.

In his remarks Arch and Building officer, Mr Maruping urged the committee to take care of the building and to use it wisely to generate revenue for the committee.
